Prof. Dr. Samy Shaaban, Chairman of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority, held a meeting on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, with Dr. Usama Siddik, Vice Cairman of ENRRA, and the heads of sectors and departments to discuss the vision and work plan of the authority for the coming period.

His Excellency started the meeting by thanking the attendees for their efforts in the previous period and affirmed his keenness to provide all necessary support to provide an advanced work environment that helps to perform the supervisory tasks effectively and efficiently.The Chairman of the Authority gave a brief presentation on the Integrated Management System and the most important achievements of the Authority in this regard over the past months. During the presentation, Professor Samy addressed the successful models of the regulatory bodies that adopted the integrated management system to create a specific and clear system for effective performance. The Chairman also listened to all the attendees and discussed their proposals for the coming period, and it was agreed at the end of the meeting that the meeting would be held on monthly basis so that all challenges could be discussed as well as sharing experiences and lessons learnt.
